Scott Staniar

Scott Staniar - Founder

Scott combines over 25 years of Fortune 500 and startup consumer marketing, advertising and product development leadership – with such companies as Pepsico, American Express, Dr Pepper / 7Up and the United States Tennis Association. Scott has also worked for over eight years in urban youth development – the experiences of which served as an inspiration for Luke Hill. Scott is married with four teens and active in Catholic ministry. He is a graduate of Yale University where he received his B.A. in American Studies.

Father Austin Fleming

Father Austin Fleming is the Senior Vicar at New Roads Catholic Community in Belmont, MA. Fr. Fleming was ordained for the Archdiocese of Boston in 1973 after receiving a Masters in Divinity degree at St. John Seminary. Since completing a Masters in Liturgical Studies at the University of Notre Dame he has written three books: Preparing for Liturgy: A Theology and Spirituality; Prayerbook for Engaged Couples; and Good Morning, Good God! He writes a daily blog on prayer and spirituality at A Concord Pastor Comments.


Dr. Elizabeth Woodard

Dr. Elizabeth Woodard, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in systematic theology from the Catholic University of America as well as three Masters Degrees in Philosophy, Divinity and Sacred Music. She is passionate about spiritual faith formation and provides Luke Hill with theological guidance and narratives in our curricula formation. She is the author of Cruciform Ecumenism: The Intersection of Ecclesiology, Episcopacy, and Apostolicity from A Catholic Perspective, and exercises her ministry as a lay spiritual director, public speaker, and retreat director through


Joshua Mayfield

Joshua Mayfield graduated from BC School of Theology & Ministry with a Masters in Theology and currently serves as Director of Youth Ministry at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. With Luke Hill, Joshua’s remarkable filmmaking and musical talent will help craft and edit storytelling by teens for use in our curricula and social media. Joshua is from Los Angeles, CA and attended Loyola Marymount University, where he volunteered as an Ignacio Companions Leader and received his degree in Business. Joshua has embarked on numerous mission trips across the globe leading support and outreach services to teens.

Vanesa Zuleta

Vanesa Zuleta, graduated from BC with a Masters in Theology and currently serves as the Director of Youth Evangelization for the Archdiocese of New Mexico South. She will play an active role in curricula formation for Luke Hill’s middle and high school Catholic programs. Vanesa is a recipient of the Lumen Gentium Award in the category of Distinguished Catholic Youth. Her ministry passion began at the age of 15 when she stepped up to lead the youth group at her home parish of St. John the Baptist, Pawtucket. Like many teenagers, she struggled with doubts during high school and relied on her peers from the youth group to help her stay centered in her faith. She attended Providence College, where she studied theology and business and served on the executive board for the campus ministry council.

Jaye Russo

Jaye Russo has been working in Pastoral Ministry for over 25 years and is currently the Director of Religious Education for grades K-8 at Holy Family Parish in Concord and Saint Irene Parish in Carlisle. Jaye will be advising and supporting Luke Hill as we prepare and execute Catholic Faith Formation curricula for our Middle School Programs. Jaye has served in numerous parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston, as both Director of Religious Education and Pastoral Associate. She attended Northeastern University and did her Theological Studies at Boston College Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry. Jaye has presented Workshops on Prayer, Baptismal Preparation and Catechesis for Persons with Disabilities for pastoral ministers, in the Archdiocese of Boston and all over the country as a presenter for Loyola Press.

Joe Falcao

Joe Falcao, Board Member has been dedicated to The Catholic Church and his faith his entire life and brings a wonderful combination of faith with deep experience in Finance, M&A, Organizational Strategy and Global Operations to Luke Hill Media. Joe has served on numerous boards including MIT Chief Financial Officer Summits, CFO Leadership Council and with St. John’s Seminary in Massachusetts. Joe is an active advisor with Archdiocese of Boston.

Virginia Tyler Smith

Virginia Tyler Smith is the Rector of St. John’s Honeoye Falls Episcopal Church, NY and brings a deep passion and commitment to faith formation for the next generation of youth. She received her Master’s in Divinity from Harvard Divinity School where she became an ordained priest and also holds a diploma in Anglican Studies at Bexley-Seabury Foundation in Chicago. Virgina brings to Luke Hill not only youth ministry expertise but over 20 years business experience prior to her career in ministry.

Michael Gillis, Esq.

Michael Gillis, Board Member, is a Partner/Attorney at Gillis and Bikofsky and will oversee legal counsel and strategy for Luke Hill Media. He has served in a wide range of Board roles dedicated to the Catholic Church and his profession; including President, Mass Academy of Trial Attorneys, Suffolk University Law School, Board of Governors, Catholic Lawyers Guild of the Archdiocese of Boston, Board of Trustees, Little Brothers of St Francis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Milton Public Library, Chairman and Council for the Hoyt Fund.
